A land mine planted by Kurdish
rebels exploded under a military vehicle in southeastern
Turkey on Friday, injuring six soldiers, a news agency
reported.
The explosion occurred as the soldiers were traveling in
southeastern Elazig province, the Anatolia news agency
reported.
The six were flown by helicopter to a nearby hospital, the
agency said. A military operation was underway in the
region.
