The Saudi Red Crescent Society will observe tomorrow (May 8) the international Red Cross and Red Crescent International Day. Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the President of the Saudi Red Crescent Society, said the Society has selected this year the topic of 'Awareness is a target in the first aid work'. He noted that the society is keen on awareness of sons of the community as regards the importance of the human work being carried out by the Society. He pointed out that the Society through its website WWW.CALL997.COM will work to spread first aid culture and how to treat patients and injured people at the incident's site. Prince Faisal bin Abdullah said they have prepared a national awareness campaign through organizing lectures on the first aid. "We have established an integrated awareness administration for participation in all local and international occasions, " he said. Prince Faisal bin Abdullah said the society has improved its services in the recent years. He expressed appreciation for the support extended by the Saudi Government to the Society.
