Saudi ambassador to Australia Hassan bin Talat Nazer visited on Monday the Melbourne-based Al-Manara Islamic College in response to an invitation from the College's administration and within the framework of his inspection tours to the Islamic schools and institutions in Australia. Nazer toured the College's buildings and classrooms during which he was briefed on the new expansion project at the college in the presence of its Director Dr Mohammed Hassan and members of the academic staff and the administrators. He also met the Saudis on scholarship whose sons study at the College. It is worth mentioning that the College teaches the Australian syllabuses in addition to the Holy Quran and the Arabic language. The College, which contains classrooms from the primary stage to the secondary stage, includes about 1000 students and female students.
