CANBERRA: Saudi Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand Hassan Talat Nazer confirmed the safety of all Saudi students on scholarships and their families in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand which was hit Tuesday by a series of aftershock earthquakes. He pointed out that the embassy has been following up the situations of Saudi students and citizens in the areas struck by the earthquakes in coordination and cooperation with the Saudi Consulate and Cultural Mission in Auckland and providing them with assistance. The Saudi Cultural Attache office in New Zealand has also announced the setting up of a free and unified telephone number for Saudi scholarship students within the country.
