International Conference on Thalassaemia planned for Riyadh city

The Health Ministry in cooperation with Thalassaemia International Federation will organize here from April 30 to May 1, 2008 an international conference on "Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Anemia". Minister of Health Dr Hamad Al-Mane' will grace the conference with his presence.
Official Spokesman for the Health Ministry Dr Khalid Al-Marghalani said the conference will be held under the title of 'Towards a Better Life'.
The participants of the Conference will shed light on the latest scientific advances in the diagnosis and treatment of Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Anemia.
