The outgoing Russian and US presidents will sign an agreement mapping out the legacy of relations between their two countries in what may be their last tete-a-tete meeting this weekend, Interfax news agency quoted a Kremlin source as saying Tuesday, according to dpa. "Experts are working productively on a strategic framework document which will become a reference point during the transitional period and for the medium-term," the Kremlin source told Interfax. The source called the agreement "a road map" for bilateral relations after Russian President Vladimir Putin hands power to his successor on May 6 and US President George W Bush's term ends next year. The two leaders are set to meet on Sunday at Putin's residence in the Black Sea resort town of Sochi. The Kremlin source also suggested that a standoff over US plans to deploy a missile defence system in Eastern Europe will be resolved at the meeting.
