Putin invites Chirac, Schroeder for three-way summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin will host French President Jacques Chirac and German Chancellor
Gerhard Schroeder at his Black Sea residence later this
month, the Kremlin announced Wednesday.
The three-way summit on Aug. 30-31 will discuss "acute
issues on the international agenda," Putin's press service
said in a brief statement released to the media.
The summit will be held in Putin's residence at the Black
Sea resort of Sochi where Putin is now vacationing.
