Russian President Vladimir Putin said Monday that his meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush last week had given a positive impetus to Russian-U.S. relations. "The negotiations were conducted on a high level in a completely trusting tone," Putin was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency. "I am certain that this is a good step forward in building our relations with the United States." He said that the documents signed at the meeting in Bratislava, Slovakia, set the agenda for bilateral work in the near- and medium-term, Interfax reported.
