Under the auspices of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Ministry of Water and Electricity and Saline Water Conversion Corporation will organize Desalination Conferene of Arab Countries in Riyadh on April 20-23, 2008. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Minister of Water and Electricity and Chairman of Corporation's Board of Directors Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Hussein pointed out that the King's patronage of this conference embodies the leadership's interest in water sector and provision of water to citizens in quantities and qualities of high standards. He added that the ministry organizes conferences in the Kingdom to discuss the issues of water and its desalination and to exchange the experience between various specialists of Arab and foreign countries in this field seeking to reduce costs, increase production, improve the performance and follow up modern techniques.
