A mild earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale hit Yogyakarta on Monday at 2.32 am local time, ANTARA reported. The epicenter of the quake was located at 8.01 degrees southern latitude and 110.26 degrees eastern longitude, around 30 km south of Yogyakarta and at a depth of 10 km below the sea level, Tyar Prasetyo of the Yogyakarta meteorological and geophysics office said here on Monday. The earthquake was hardly felt by local residents.
