Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Secretary General of the Tourism Supreme Commission and Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Melhem, Director General of the Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), signed here today a joint working program to activate cooperation between their two organizations to implement the recommendations of the General Strategy for Promoting National Tourism. In a press statement following the signing ceremony, Prince Sultan bin Salman highlighted the great role expected to be seen by air transportation facilities to support domestic tourism and facilitate the access of tourists to the different touristy sites in the continent-like country. He cited offers to reduce marketing packages for this program, organizing joint get-acquainted tours for media representatives and touristy groups, travel and tourism agencies and touristy tours operators. He described SAUDIA as his organization's main partner in tourism industry promotion, citing the national carrier's patronage of the annual Forum for Travel and Touristy Investment, to be organized by the tourism authority in Rabee Awal 1429 H. (less than two months).
