In a move designed to further promote tourism in the Kingdom, photographing in public places, parks and tourstic areas is no longer prohibited, announced Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Secretary General of the Tourism Higher Authority. Speaking to reporters today following the 12th meeting of the Board of Directors of the authority, presided over by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior, Prince Sultan bin Salman said the decision will enter into force by Rabee Altahni 1427 H. to enable the authorities to identify the areas in which photographing will still be prohibited.
