Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, has approved the beginning of issuing the national identity card through the central printing system. This was stated to Saudi Press Agency by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Civil Affairs Nasir Alhanaya who expressed thanks for the approval of the central printing project adding that the trial issuance of the national identity card through the central printing system will begin tomorrow from the department of civil affairs in the province of Kharj. Alhanaya explained that the Riyadh-based central printing system of the national identity card aims at improving the efficiency of the issuance of the document and its security.
