Official speaks on executive law of the Nationality Regulation

Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry for Civil Affairs Nasir bin Hamad Alhanaya thanked Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, and Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Interior Minister, for their support for the Civil Affairs Department.
In a press statement today, he said, "the executive law of the Nationality Regulation became effective since its publication in the official newspaper yesterday, Friday."
He added that amendments of the regulation came to meet job requirements and achieve the interest of citizens and country.
Alhanaya explained the main features of the amendments of the regulation and the executive law.
He stated that naturalization applications under article 9 of the regulation should be submitted to the Undersecretariat of the Civil Affairs in Riyadh starting from 15 Rabea Althani 1426 H. He added that applications can be received from the offices of the Civil Affairs in various regions of the kingdom starting from Saturday 21 Rabea Alawal 1426 H.
