The traffic police will soon start issuing new integrated traffic-ownership documents (Istimara) for vehicles in Jeddah. Measures to this effect were approved by Prince Mohammad Bin Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Minister of Interior for Security Affairs. Al-Madina quoted Jeddah traffic police chief Colonel Mohammad Bin Hassan Al-Qahtani as saying that the new document system was first successfully applied in Riyadh Region. In the second phase, the system would be applied all over the Kingdom. The easier-to-deal-with new card will replace the two separate documents and it will have sophisticated security characteristics. __
