Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and Chairman of Board of Directors of General Authority for Civil Aviation signed here today a five-year contract worth SR 256 million with Engineering House Company (Shaer and Partners) for management of construction and supervision of development project of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. On behalf of the company, the contract was signed by Dr. Eng. Kamal Al-Shaer, Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors. The management contract is considered as one of the most important contracts of gigantic development for the airport whose accommodation capacity will be increased to about 30 million passengers per year in its first phase and to 80 million passengers in the next stages. --More
