Three foreign companies will sign contracts on Wednesday for commercial management of the international airports in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah. Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Civil Aviation, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Civil Aviation Authority, will grace the signing of the contracts. The contracts for Jeddah's King Abdul Aziz Airport and King Khaled Airport in Riyadh will be signed with the German company Fraport AG. Singaporean company Changi International is scheduled to sign the contract for the commercial management of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Better services Abdullah Bin Muhammed Nour Ruheimi, president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, said the signing of the three contracts was part of the plan to commercialize the three airports and improve the quality of service for passengers. The companies contracted will have the following tasks: • Employ managers to work closely with Saudi airport directors to pass on their expertise • Provide intensive training courses for local employees working in management inside and outside the Kingdom • Review the designs of developments projects at some of the Kingdom's airports. – Okaz/SG __
