Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Arabian Airlines chaired at his palace here today a board's meeting. The meeting was attended by Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation for Civil Aviation and the Board's members. The meeting was briefed by Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah bin Baker, the Airlines' Director General on the Airlines' performance in 2004 and transportation of passengers, noting that the Airlines transported last year 15,772,000 passengers for the first time since its establishment 60 years ago. At the end of the meeting, Prince Sultan praised the Airlines for its achievements and efforts exerted in transporting passengers and serving pilgrims, also commending the development of its services and strategic goals to compete world companies. He urged on exerting more efforts to serve citizens, residents, pilgrims and Umrah performers, wishing the Airlines all success.
