Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, viewed here today the master plan to upgrade King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh which has been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority"s board. Present at the event were Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who is also Chairman of General Authority for Civil Aviation, and Prince Salman, Governor of Riyadh Region. King Abdullah was briefed on the project and passenger traffic at the airport in 2009 which stood at 12 millions, while the upgrading aims at raising its capacity to 25 million passengers, by 2018. -- SPA
