US dollar mostly higher, gold down in European trading

The U.S. dollar was mostly higher against other major currencies in European trading Monday morning. Gold fell.
The euro traded at US$1.4630, down from US$1.4659 late
Friday in New York.

Gold traded in London at US$788.50 per troy ounce, down
from US$789.90 late Friday.
In Zurich, gold traded at US$787.20 bid per troy ounce,
down from US$787.45.
Silver opened in London at US$14.51, unchanged.
