At least eight killed in bombing accident

At least eight training flying officers of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) were killed when a suicide bomber hit the bus in which they were traveling in Pakistan s Punjab province Thursday, police said.
Interior Ministry spokesman Brig (retd) Javed Iqbal Cheema said the bomber smashed his motorcycle, laden with explosive material, in the bus in Sargodha.
Forty trainees were injured, half of them seriously, in the attack.
Military spokesman Maj-Gen Waheed Arshad said it was a suicide attack on the PAF bus, which was taking the PAF officers to the training area.
