At least seven security persons and fifteen militants were killed in clashes in Pakistan's tribal area Friday, Pakistan Army said. Nearly a dozen persons were wounded in Chak Malai and adjacent areas of North Waziristan, Pakistan Army spokesman Maj-Gen Waheed Arshad said. He said that the clashes took place when the miscreants attacked an army convoy with automatic weapons and rockets from nearby mountains. The security forces retaliated, he added. The clashes are continuing as security forces are hunting the militants.
