Pakistan's President General Pervez Musharraf left here today for visits to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Talking to the reporters at Chaklala Air Base near Islamabad before his departure on a two-day tour, Musharraf said he would exchange views with the leadership of Saudi Arabia and the UAE on the issues of mutual interest including terrorism and extremism. Prime Minster Shaukat Aziz, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Ehsanul Haq, Vice Chief of Army Staff General Ahsan Saleem Hyatt and some federal ministers were present at Chaklala airbase to see off the president. While in Saudi Arabia, the President will perform Umrah and meet the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz. After his Saudi Arabia visit, the president will visit the UAE. --MORE
