General Sir Michael Walker, Chief of Defense Staff of Britain, has met President General Pervez Musharraf, according to an official statement. The President welcomed Walker and expressed the hope that his visit would serve to enhance excellent cooperation between the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the United Kingdom. Walker thanked the President for the opportunity to call on him. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of the Staff Committee, General Ehsanul Haq, the British High Commissioner (ambassador) to Pakistan and senior officials were also present during the meeting.
