Tokyo stocks closed lower Monday, dragged down by Friday's declines in the US market, according to dpa. The Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 101.15 points, or 0.56 per cent, to close at 18,087.48. The broader Topix index of all first-section issues was also down 13.12 points, or 0.74 per cent, to close at 1,764.87. On currency markets at midday (0300 GMT), the dollar was quoted at 123.87-92 yen, down from Friday's 5 pm quote of 124.06-08 yen. The euro was quoted at 1.3464-69 dollars, up from Friday's 5 pm quote of 1.3405-07 dollars, and at 166.81-86 yen, up from 166.31-35 yen.
