SAUDI AMBASSADOR TO EGYPT HISHAM NAZER HIGHLIGHTED THE FORTHCOMING VISIT OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ TO EGYPT, NOTING THAT IT COMES WITHIN THE KEENNESS OF THE LEADERSHIPS OF THE TWO COUNTRIES TO CONTINUE CONSULTATIONS AND COORDINATION BETWEEN THEM TO TACKLE ALL HOT ISSUES WITNESSED BY THE REGION. HE DESCRIBED THE SAUDI EGYPTIAN RELATIONS AS DEEP-ROOTED, STRONG AND FIRM, ENHANCED BY THE CLOSE TIES BINDING KING ABDULLAH AND PRESIDENT MOHAMMED HOSNI MUBARAK OF EGYPT. THE AMBASSADOR DREW THE ATTENTION TO THE KEENNESS OF THE MONARCH TO MAKE EGYPT A LEG OF HIS CURRENT TOUR WHICH TOOK HIM TO SPAIN, FRANCE AND POLAND. NAZER SAID THE KING IS KEEN TO CONSULT WITH PRESIDENT MUBARAK ON DIFFERENT ISSUES PERTAINING TO THE ARAB WORLD. IN A STATEMENT TO THE SAUDI PRESS AGENCY, NAZER SAID THE KINGDOM IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TRADE PARTNERS OF EGYPT IN TERMS OF TRADE SIZE AND JOINT INVESTMENTS WORTH MORE THAN 30 BILLION EGYPTIAN POUNDS.
