King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, arrived in Sharm El-Shaikh on an official visit to Egypt Wednesday, said a Royal Court statement. The King will hold talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on regional issues. King Abdullah is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Chief of General Intelligence Prince Muqrin Bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant Chief of General Intelligence Prince Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al-Saud, and Advisors Prince Turki Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al-Saud, Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Mansour Bin Nasir Bin Abdul Aziz, Dr. Prince Bandar Bin Salman Bin Mohammad Al-Saud. Hisham Mohiuddin Nazer, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, said the King's visit gains special importance in the light of current challenges facing the region, especially the developments in Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Nazer stressed the keenness of the two leaderships on the continuation of consultation and coordination between the two countries. He said the meetings between King Abdullah and President Mubarak furnish a concrete evidence of the deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom and Egypt. The envoy said the visit comes within Saudi-Egyptian efforts to tackle and solve regional crises. He indicated that the visit would further strengthen effectiveness of Arab role in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine. __
