Al-Quds Higher Islamic Committee condemned today the Israeli aggression on the Mosques in the West bank and Gaza Strip, especially last Sunday's aggression on the Holy Mosque of Al-Aqsa. This came in a memorandum sent to the United Nations office in Amman. During the last six months, the Israeli Authority attacked directly tens of mosques in the cities and villages of Palestine, the memorandum said. "As many as 14 mosques were demolished in Palestinian territories." The Memorandum reiterated The International Tribunal Court's Charter which states that the aggression on worshiping places is considered as a war crime punished by the International Law. The Committee called on the UN to intervene and stop the Israeli aggression on mosques in the territories, especially the Holy Mosque of Al-Aqsa.
