The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold here on Sunday an introductory meeting on King Abdul-Aziz Quality Award (KAQA) in the presence of Nabeel Ameen Mulla, the Director General of The Saudi Arabian Standard Organization (SASO). The Award is aimed to develop and support all sectors of the Kingdom by applying an international criteria and methods that lead to excellence in performance, promote best practices, motivate organizations to compete and award distinguished efforts and extend recognition to them under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques. KAQA, which was approved by the royal decree in telegraph No.7/B/18670 on 27-11-1420AH is intended to maximize quality, efficiency and productivity in different sectors within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is presented to sectors which achieve the highest level of quality. The Award is presented to 3 categories, Large organizations with a capital of more than SR 100 million; Medium organizations with a capital ranging from 10-100 million riyals and Small organizations with a capital below 10 million riyals.
