The Transportation Under Secretaries of member states of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) started today their 12th meeting at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh. Dr.Abdul-Aziz Al-Ohali, the Saudi Under Secretary at the Transportation Ministry presided over the meeting. The meeting's agenda included a feasibility study of railroad network among the member states, a data base of transportation and a review of obstacles that are hindering the trade exchanges as well as an in-depth discussion on seaports development. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
