The Second Translation Meeting resumed its works here today in the presence of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, the Governor of Saudi Arabia's Assir region and President of The Arab Thought Foundation. It's conferrers underscored the importance of translation as a tool of civilized contacts among cultures and nations. They urged for adoption of Arabic language as a certified international language all over the world at conferences and meetings conducted by Arab people. They also called on government institutions and the private sector to extend more care and attention for translation affairs in order to enrich libraries to properly support the Arab youth with science and knowledge in Arabic language. The second Translation meeting started its deliberations yesterday in Amman under the auspices of the Arab Thought Foundation. -- SPA
