Prince Khalid Al-Faisal holds a meeting with Arab publishers

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of Assir Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and President of Arab Thought Foundation (ATF), held here today a meeting with Arab publishers during his current visit to Lebanon to head the meetings of Arab Thought Foundation and to attend opening the third Arab thought conference.
During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of the publishers' role in spreading Arab culture and supporting the translation work. He also requested publishers to concentrate their contributions in the field of publishing and translation.
Prince Khalid Al-Faisal also expressed his resentment of the low level of translation in Arab World.
On their part, the Arab publishers thanked Prince Khalid Al-Faisal for giving them the opportunity in this meeting to show their visions for the reality of Arab culture.
