Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) intends to start four to six flights daily by MD-90 planes for Umrah (the minor pilgrimage) season from Iranian cities to Madinah for the Fourth consecutive year after the success achieved during the past three years. SAA Director General for the Middle East and the Arabian Gulf Hasan Al-Yami said SAA is linked by agreements to transfer Iranian pilgrims and Umrah performers during the seasons of Hajj and Umrah. SAA will transfer 280,000 Iranian Umrah performers from 12 Iranian cities during the current year of 1428H. He indicated that SAA expects to transfer more than two million Umrah performers from all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and about 70 international airports. -- SPA
