In response to an official invitation from the University of Columbia, the Saudi film "Shadows of Silence" will participate in the Annual New York Film Festival during the period from February 23 to March 4, 2007. More than 70 films are participating in the festival, including 15 American films shown for the first time as well as documentary films for many topics addressing Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine.
