RIYADH: A festival of films from different parts of the world under the title “International Film Festival – Riyadh : The Ambassadors' Choice” will be held at the Indian Embassy auditorium from Friday onwards. These films have been selected by the ambassadors concerned. The films included in the festival are: Russia (1Feb. 18) “Brest Fortress”; Turkey (Feb. 23) “Bal” ; China (Feb. 24) “Golden Times” ; Palestine (Feb. 25) “Paradise Now” ; Italy (March 3) “The Keys of the House”; Kazakhstan (March 10) “Birzhan-Sal”; Sweden (March 17) “Zozo” ; France (March 18) “Home”; Korea (March 23) “Jump2009”; Algeria (March 24) “London River” and Denmark (March 25) “Fighter”. Films from Argentina, Burkina Faso, Indonesia and the United States will also be shown. Attendance at the screenings is by invitation, the embassy said. Invitations will be issued on a “first come first served basis”. Children under 16 years are not permitted.
