SRI LANKA'S PRESIDENT, MINISTER OF FINANCE AND PLANNING MAHINDA RAJAPAKSE MET HERE LAST NIGHT WITH SAUDI AMBASSADOR TO SRI LANKA MOHAMMED BIN MAHMOUD AL-ALI. THE AMBASSADOR HANDED OVER THE PRESIDENT A LETTER ADDRESSED FROM DR. IBRAHIM BIN ABDULAZIZ AL-ASSAF, THE MINISTER OF FINANCE AND CHAIRMAN OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SAUDI DEVELOPMENT FUND WHICH APPROVED A LOAN OF SR 75 MILLION TO FINANCE THE PROJECT OF EPILEPSY HOSPITAL AND HEALTH CENTERS AND ANOTHER LOAN OF SR 11 MILLION TO DEVELOP MEDICAL SERVICES IN COLOMBO. THE SRI LANKAN PRESIDENT EXPRESSED HIS BEST THANKS TO THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ FOR THIS FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND THE KINGDOM'S CONTRIBUTIONS AND POSITIONS IN SUPPORT OF DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS IN SRI LANKA.
