Sri Lanka Hails Free Trade Agreement With Pakistan

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse has hailed the operationalisation of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and expressed the hope that it will open new opportunities for economic cooperation to the mutual benefit of the two countries.
He was talking to Pakistani Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar Khan who called on him at his office in Colombo.
Khan is leading Pakistan's delegation to the 9th session of Pakistan-Sri Lanka Joint Economic Commission.
