The third Japan-Pakistan Joint Business-Government Dialogue will be held January 23 to discuss means of increasing trade and investment activities between the two countries, the Japanese Embassy in Islamabad said in a statement. Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar Khan and Parliamentary Secretary for Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Japan Ms. Michiyo Takagi, will jointly chair the meeting. The focus of discussions would be to remove the impediments facing the business communities and enhance trade and investment ties between the two countries. The constructive dialogue between the governments and the private sectors will help to improve the business climate on both sides, the statement said.
