The first meeting of the Council established under the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) signed by Pakistan and the United States will be held in Washington DC on 28th September, an official statement said. A delegation led by Pakistan's Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar Khan Sunday left for Washington to attend the meeting of the council. The agenda of the meeting includes negotiations on Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) and the proposals to gain market access for exports of Pakistan to the US market.
