THE SECOND SAUDI RELIEF PLANE, CARRYING 77 TONS OF RELIEF MATERIALS, ARRIVED HERE TODAY WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE KINGDOM'S HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE TO THE AFFLICTED PEOPLE AS A RESULT OF FLOODS IN SRI LANKA. THE RELIEF MATERIALS INCLUDED 1000 CARTONS OF FOODSTUFFS, 1000 TENTS, 1000 RUGS, 2000 BLANKETS AS WELL AS MEDICAL SUPPLIES. THE PLANE WAS RECEIVED BY SAUDI AMBASSADOR TO SRI LANKA MOHAMMED AL-ALI AND SRI LANKAN MINISTERS. THE AMBASSADOR CONVEYED SRI LANKAN PRESIDENT'S APPRECIATION OF AND THANKS TO THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ FOR THE SAUDI HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO SRI LANKA.
