A Saudi cargo plane, laden with relief materials weighing around 76,500 tons, has arrived in Battam as part of the Saudi airlift assistance to quake-and-tsunami-hit victims in South Asia. The relief shipment consists of tents, carpet, medicine, foodstuffs and blankets. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency(SPA), the Kingdom's Ambassador to Indonesia Abdullah Abdulrahman Alam expressed his deep regret for the victims of the catastrophic tsunami tidal wave, and assured the humanitarian stand of the Saudi government and people to help the disaster victims in Southern Asia.
