MOHAMMED MOHAMMED AWAD SIGNED ON BEHALF OF EGYPT'S HOLDING ELECTRICITY COMPANY. IN A STATEMENT FOLLOWING THE SINGING CEREMONY, SAUDI ARABIA'S MINISTER OF WATER AND ELECTRICITY ABDULLAH BIN ABDULRAHMAN ALHUSSEIN, WHO WAS PRESENT DURING THE EVENT, NOTED THE CONSIDERABLE COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES IN THE FIELD OF POWER INDUSTRY AS REGARDS STUDIES ON POWER RATIONALIZATION AND ENERGY SERVICES AND OTHER FEASIBILITY STUDIES. ON HIS PART, DR. HASAN YOUNIS, EGYPT'S MINISTER OF ELECTRICITY AND ENERGY, WHO ALSO ATTENDED THE EVENT, UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF THE $ 2.6 MILLION STUDY, NOTING IT WOULD REPRESENT THE START OF ELECTRIC GRID BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
