Jadoon informed about the updated progress on the proposed Qatar-Pakistan Gas Pipeline Project and said that the Pakistan government was actively working on the cross border on it in order to meet the growing energy demand as well as to overcome the gas shortfall after 2010. He said that there exists a lot of potential and opportunities for the Qatar investors to participate in the upcoming oil and gas project. The Qatari Deputy Prime Minister appreciated the dynamic leadership of President General Pervez Musharraf for promoting bonds of fraternity and brotherhood among the Muslim countries. He said that Qatar-Pakistan Gas Pipeline project would bring progress and prosperity for the people of the region.
