A car bomb killed at least 25 people and injured 100 others Wednesday in the Howaidar area of northern Baquba, 60 kilometres northeast of Baghdad, local medical sources told dpa. The blast occurred at approximately 9.00 pm local time (1700 GMT) in a busy district of coffee shops and stores. It is not known whether the bomb was detonated by a suicide bomber or by remote control.
