Two U.S. soldiers killed, two injured in blast

Two U.S. soldiers were killed and two others were injured in a bomb blast in Samarra Monday, the U.S. military said in a statement carried by dpa.
The improvised explosive device targeted a military patrol in Samarra, 125 kilometres north of Baghdad, about midday Monday, the statement said.
One soldier died at the scene while another died from his injuries in hospital. The two injured were being treated at a coalition forces medical centre.
