On behalf of Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region, Dr. Ghazi bin Abdulrahman Al-Gosaibi, the Minister of Labor and Chairman of Board of Directors of General Organization of Technical Education and Vocational Training inaugurated here today the First Vocational Training Institute Facilities and the Joint Training Program between the Organization and General Motors Corporation. A speech ceremony was held on this occasion. The facilities cost SR 45 million and can accommodate 1000 trainees. In a press statement, Dr. Al-Gosaibi said that the Organization will attract nearly 300,000 students at its institutes and colleges and 100,000 trainees at the private sector's institutes over the next four years and the number will reach nearly 500,000 trainees during five years to meet the needs of the labor market. On his part, the Director General of General Motors Corporation in Middle East Terry Johansson said that the Corporation launched its first training program in cooperation with the Organization in Riyadh and will expand its program in the Kingdom.
