Saudi Ambassador to Iran Osama Al-Senousi has met here members of Iranian Parliamentary Friendship group in Iran's Al-Shoura (Consultative) Council. They discussed ways of bolstering the bilateral Parliamentary, cultural, economic and political relations between the two countries and strengthening unity in the Islamic world. Al-Senousi stressed the importance of the bilateral relations to the Islamic world in particular and the rest of the world in general, adding that the Saudi leadership emphasizes the expansion of relations with Iran. Al-Senousi described cooperation between the two countries in the last ten years as "very positive" and said highlighting issues of disunity would only please enemies of Islam and Islamic Ummah. Also, he also noted the strategic status and the wide-ranging potentialities of the two countries in serving the two countries' peoples and the Islamic world, saying that unity is the only way for Islamic Ummah and disunity would only please our enemies. He reaffirmed that the wide-ranging economic and cultural abilities of the Islamic world are considered a huge effective power at the level of international relations. --MORE 14 11 Local Time 11 11 GMT
