The Council of Regional Commission for Preservation of Red Sea and Aden Gulf Environment started its 9th session here today. Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, General President of Meteorology and Environment Protection headed the Kingdom's delegation to the session. Addressing the meeting, Prince Turki bin Nasser stressed the Kingdom's continual support for the Commission and its activities, noting that the Kingdom paid all its contributions representing 50 percent of the Commission's budget in 2005 and will regularly pay all its contributions. He indicated that the Kingdom is currently studying final designs of the Commission's new building. Prince Turki bin Nasser pointed out that the Kingdom has adopted the Commission since its inception according to Jeddah agreement in 1982.
