The Higher Commission of Riyadh Development has issued a report on investment climate in Riyadh city for 1426H. The report shed light on indicators of economic and social development; infrastructure; investment's channels, opportunities and incentives; policies and measures supporting investment; and identification of bodies concerning with investment in the Kingdom. It pointed out that the economic powers in Riyadh region have been concentrated on services, industry, agriculture and construction. The report indicated that the number of plants in Riyadh Region reached 1148 until the end of 1423H with total finances of nearly SR 32 billion. They included 111,729 workers in the fields of manufactured mineral products; machines; equipment; chemical industries; plastic products; and industries of building materials, clay, ceramics and glass. Riyadh also included two industrial cities provided with various services and utilities.
