Suspected rebels hurled a hand grenade at a border patrol outside a state-run bank in the Indian portion of Kashmir on Friday, wounding one soldier and four civilian passers-by, police said, according to AP. The injured included three children who were walking to their homes from a nearby school in Sopore, a town 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of Srinagar, the summer capital of India's Jammu-Kashmir state, said Junaid Ahmed, the superintendent of police.
